Time, Man

Time is one of the hardest things to reconcile with. We know we have a limited amount of it, but in a sense you may have a lot of it. So how does one use it?

If you think about it too much, you’ll never start anything. If you don’t think about it enough, you may never finish anything. As with most things, the sweet spot lands somewhere in the middle.

When approaching a long-term project, it’s important to remember that time will pass no matter what you do. If you don’t take advantage of it, it will disappear just the same as if you do. But that means that you have the power to choose. Choice is freedom. You have complete freedom, right now, to decide exactly what you want out of your life and how you’re going to get it.

Know time, use it as a tool that works for you. Learn to wield it as you might a great sword – with calculated precision – and the work will start to take care of itself.
